Some consistent signs to watch out for include persistent low mood, lack of motivation, and extreme mood swings. Changes in behavior can also be signs of poor mental health, e.g. withdrawing from social engagements and increased irritability."  -  Sinead Craddock (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Child and Adolescent Psychology.)
